Description
The Model 1861 Springfield rifled musket was the principle firearm of the Civil War. By the end of 1863, most Federal Infantrymen were armed with either this musket or the Enfield .58 caliber rifled barrel. It has one piece walnut full stock, one piece forged barrel designed like the originals. Military style sights. Steel butt plate, trigger guard and barrel bands. Lock markings “1861 U.S. Springfield” with eagle”. Overall length: 56″, Finished in the white with “swelled” ramrod as the originals. NSSA approved. Model #110
