Captain Collar Insignia
While enlisted soldiers wore chevrons on the sleeves of their coats, Officers of the Confederate army wore either stars (senior officers) or bars (junior officers) with the background color indicating the branch of service; infantry, artillery, cavalry, staff or staff officers.
General officers were identified by the addition of a gold floral wreath around the three stars of a colonel.
Sold in pairs.
