Description
One of the most treasured possessions a soldier could have! The large overcoat was designed for warmth and protection against the weather. Its collar and cuffs can be turned out to protect the face and hands from cold and rain, and the elbow-length cape provides extra warmth and could somewhat repel rainwater. The skirt was typically longer than that of the Frock Coat. Made of heavier wool with a stand-up collar, belted back with buttons. This single-breasted coat has six CSA buttons down the front and separate CSA buttons on the cape.
